20 something Part deux

IMG_6180A little late, but I promised a continuation… Yes! one thing I can procrastinate on… my own blog.  It sounds cliché to say New Year, New Me, New Blog. BUT I DO FEEL LIKE A NEW ME. Growth. I won’t lie to you and say that I’ve been on my game–working out in the gym everyday, eating healthy 24/7, paying my bills on time, with a permanent smile on my face. eh, NONE OF THE ABOVE. But I will say this I’m the happiest I’ve been in a while, even with all my problems. And that is thanks to my faith in God and my faith in MYSELF. A positive attitude has gotten me a long way.

Have a little more faith in yourself. Be the best YOU you can be, Hard work and dedication, no matter who the employer, are admirable traits. If you find yourself unsatisfied with a job, convince yourself that you’re just doing so as a means to get by until you achieve your goals. Every opportunity that molds you and brings you closer to your dreams should be greeted passionately by you.

“The lessons I’ve learned in my failures will forever be more valuable than any success I’ll ever have.” -Kirk Franklin

Have a little more faith in your dream. Having high hopes and aspirations for the future is a great thing, it’s just important to draw the line somewhere. Picturing a fantasy world in which you own nice things, are surrounded by beautiful people, and have piles of money isn’t going to bring those things to fruition. The dreaming is the easy part, it’s the living that requires some heavy lifting and effort.

Have a little more faith in other people. Treat others how you would want to be treated. Try to do as much good to others–it will make for a better you and a better world. Kill ’em with kindness might not seem like it’s working in your favor, but it is. Don’t let other people phase you or make you bitter. If someone is acting like a jerk 24/7… just think it’s probably because they are more miserable than you.

Have a little more faith in God. How powerful it is to restore your faith. And I can attest to that; because the moment I accepted His love, my life had brand new meaning. I’m not here telling you to go to church and read the bible everyday, but have faith and believe that someone is out there.. blessing you and helping you on your journey. Stay positive.
